As much as I love nature, at the end culture really inspires me the most. It just pleases me more aesthetically, at least generally. I’ve travelled a bit and although I have always loved it to be surrounded by nothing but nature (which can contain such awesomeness – think the vast landscapes of Mongolia, the immense forests of Russia, Iguazu falls, Halong Bay in Vietnam, …), the places/moments that are stuck in my memory the most are those where there was also a human interference. I’m thinking of the beautifully dressed people in Mongolia and northern Vietnam, temple-scattered Bagan in Myanmar (Burma), the churches of Ethiopia, Petra in Jordan and so much more (oh and don’t even get me started on the food!!!!). Currently though I get very inspired by natural beauty in the literal sense – stones, shells, coral, plants, stuff like that.
