There’s so much to see and do at An Apple A Day. Play, learn, create, eat, drink, buy – everything is possible in this lovely kids concept store in my hometown Utrecht. In the front there are coffee and cake, then come the toys, books and most adorable children’s clothing, and in the back a special space has been created for kids to have exercise therapy or throw their own party. Workshops are held regularly in the shop, for kids or for their parents, for example to learn how to handle their non-obedient little creatures (unfortunately I missed that one so mine are still out of control; hopefully the workshop will go on repeat sometime soon ;)) and last but not least: hair cuts are now on offer! Considering that owner Geerte is a children’s exercise therapist and co-owner Annemarie has a background in art, it is no surprise that playfully learning and creating are key here. So, whatever your need, if it involves kids (or you just like pretty stuff or chatting with the owners, like me ;)), An Apple A Day is your address. Annemarie & Geerte, thanks for having this place, visits are always a pleasure!
